Growing up in Idaho, I found great inspiration in the nature was found around the state. Being drawn to  animals, I was soon enthralled with being able to draw them. I found myself copying illustrations from favorite books while also learning how to document my favorite cartoons. During the summers, the art classes I would take brought out the best version of myself.

When I began earning my B.F.A., I found that sharing a studio with motivated and kind artists only further cemented my connection to design. I love to gather inspiration through connection. 

I gather my creativity from artists like Marc Davis, Quentin Blake, and E.H. Shepard. I find inspiration in children's books, great films, antiques, history, and the natural world. My Grandma, Sally, also painted in her spare time,  influencing me greatly. Her oil landscapes are hanging in my home today.
